Remuneration value range from $94,483 up to $137,674 p.a. (L13-L27) FT, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., private practice arrangements, plus an Inaccessibility allowance of $20,700 per annum FT (category 5) 100% paid after twelve months completion period.

Working at the Babinda Multi-Purpose Health Service within the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service, you will contribute as a dynamic Senior Medical Officer, providing high quality clinical care to hospital in-patients and patients at rural clinics. You will assist the Director of Medical Services in the development of safe medical practice and optimising clinical skills for medical and nursing staff.

It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16):

– measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)

– pertussis (whooping cough)
– hepatitis B
– tuberculosis
