Remuneration value up to $304,416 p.a. comprising salary
between $7,827.20 p.f. - $8,875.80 p.f. (MOR3-1 - MOR3-6) or
remuneration value up to $255,110 p.a. comprising salary between
$6,776.80 p.f. - $7,199.60 p.f. (MOR1-1 - MOR1-3), employer
superannuation contribution (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading
(17.5%), professional development allowance, professional development
leave 3.6 weeks p.a., and professional indemnity cover. Applications
will remain current for 12 months.

Collinsville Hospital is situated 83km south-west of Bowen and about a
45-minute drive. Collinsville provides health services to the
surrounding rural area, including Scottville. Approximate population is
2000 and you will be welcomed by the friendly locals.
Your opportunity
To provide high quality multidisciplinary clinical services in
accordance with Collinsville Multipurpose Health Service objectives, to
public inpatients, outpatients, accident and emergency and aged care
services with the right of private practice as set out in the Senior
Medical Officers Employment Framework.
The Hospital and Health Service authorises the successful candidate to
conduct private practice at the Collinsville Family Practice
concurrently with their employment duties for the Collinsville
Multipurpose Health Service.
Mandatory qualifications / Professional registration
- Mandatory possession of a medical qualification from a
registered tertiary institution and Registration with the Medical Board
of Australia (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) with a
current annual practicing certificate is essential.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and
if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate
registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required
information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager,
prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
- Fellowship of either ACRRM (Australian College of Rural and
Remote Medicine) or RACGP (FRACGP or FARGP) or enrolment in a training
program to these Fellowships (Advanced Registrar enrolled in the AGPT or
RVTS or ACRRM Independent training programs are also eligible).
- Advanced clinical skills in Emergency Medicine or other College (ACRRM or RACGP) are highly desirable.
- Broad clinical experience in Primary Health Care and Emergency Medicine is preferable.
- Aged Care - potential applicants are advised that the Aged Care
Act 1997 requires Queensland Health employees and volunteers of aged
care services to have a current National Police Certificate. Queensland
Health will facilitate the applicants obtaining the above check.
- Candidates must provide certified copies of requested proof of
identify documents for the purposes of general Criminal history and
National Police Certificate checks.
- Declaration of any current, criminal, or significant previous disciplinary proceedings or restrictions on clinical practice.
