#DestinationRural Education Support

As part of our #DestinationRural campaign we are keen to bring a taste  rural and remote medicine and lifestyle to the cities and big regional centres.  Our team regularly visits tertiary hospitals supporting Intern and RMO medical education sessions with a little country hospitality (we provide the food) or through clinical teaching sessions, in areas such as rural obstetrics, rural paediatrics or rural emergencies, just to name a few.  It is a great way for junior doctors to ask questions of people who live and breathe rural medicine every day, particularly before they head out on a rural rotation.  It also provides an opportunity for any of the doctors, who are interested in rural medicine, to continue to build their networks and supports.

If you are interested in finding out more about what #DestinationRural can do to support junior doctor education in your service please get in touch by completing contacting us online (easy form just to your right).
