Who we are

We are the only member body that backs rural doctors 100%. Unapologetically rural, we have no other member cohort to dilute our interest. We will go to bat for our rural doctors on any issue, represent you on every panel, provide expert advice from a rural perspective on government and regulatory policies, and work our hardest to build rural medicine into a career of choice. We are proud not to just offer up the issues, but provide Government and policy makers with real solution ideas. Where does your membership money go?

We are a federated organisation, and for each member that joins their state RDA, a portion of this fee goes to RDAA. These funds allow us to represent rural doctors at a national level, which is hugely important as primary care is federally funded.
